This Privacy Policy explains how On The Border San Diego ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of otbsd.com (the "Site") for our Mira Mesa restaurant, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the Site or submit a form to us.
We collect information you choose to give us directly, and limited technical information collected automatically.
When you use our contact form or catering estimator, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, event date, number of guests, message, and estimate details, along with the page you submitted the form from.
When you submit a form, we also record basic technical information such as your browser's user-agent string. If you accept cookies (see "Cookies and Analytics" below), Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) may collect standard usage data such as pages visited and general location.
Form submissions are stored in a secure database and are also emailed to our team so we can follow up with you. We retain submissions only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and for our internal recordkeeping.
On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta/Facebook Pixel) are set to "denied" by default and are only enabled if you click "Accept." Our Site links to third-party sites we don't control, such as our gift card page, employment application site, and social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You may decline cookies via the cookie banner, opt out of Google Analytics using your browser or available opt-out tools, and request that we delete personal information you've submitted to us by emailing us at the address below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
