This is the story of how Johnny the Bartender embarked on the quest to create the perfect margarita. It all started when little Johnny had his first taste of a margarita back when laws were more lenient and parents were more curious than their own children. After deducing what components were in it from the first sip, he swore that he would find the perfect ingredients to constitute the perfect margarita.
This journey started in the heart of Mexico, where the legendary Miracle Lime could be found. Deep in the ruins of the ancient temples of Nahuatl, exists a tree that bears the said fruit. Johnny had heard of this at the local bars on the outskirts of Mexico and began his quest to find this perfect lime for his dream margarita. After several days trekking with little to no food or water, Johnny found the tree that bore the fruit and added it to his collection.
Next was finding the waterfalls of Septuple Sec. It was rumored that the waters falling from this cliff rivaled if not bested Cointreau® branded liqueur and that if a man stood in the waters, he would be drunk in less than 10 seconds. Johnny took this as a challenge and found the fabled falls to undertake such a dangerous task. Johnny stood in the Septuple Sec waters for hours collecting the treasured liquid without even turning red. This was a testament to his passion and determination to the perfect margarita.
As for the base liquor tequila, Johnny knew what he had wanted to use from the start, tequila from his hometown in the Costa Rican wetlands. After all the dangerous voyages, Johnny arrived back in his hometown after many years only to be greeted by warm responses and nostalgic faces. Not one person had forgotten who Johnny was or the little kid that he used to be.
